SE C’E’ UNA BUONA RAGIONE

Se c’è una buona ragione è necessario cambiare.
C’è differenza, non dico: “Se ne vale la pena”.
Io per la pena non provo nessuna attrazione.
E sono andato già oltre in questo mio ragionare.

Stiamo lottando e ciascuno ha le proprie ragioni.
Mi sono accorto che ciò non ti ha neanche sorpresa.
Le differenze conducono a motivazioni
Ed i motivi hanno un corso: ci hanno portato a una resa.

Il cambiamento è il futuro che chiama se stesso.
Non devi avere paura, non puoi averla adesso.
Se devi scegliere, scegli che non sia un’illusione.
Potremmo anche lasciarci se c’è una buona ragione.

Si può dipingere un quadro e non volerlo guardare,
andar cercando un amore e lasciarlo svanire.
Se c’è una buona ragione si deve cambiare.
È, infine, un atto dovuto: morire per non morire.
E non pensarci più!

Convinto, riascolto i pensieri ma cammino in attesa
che un sottile respiro di vento mi giunga in soccorso.
Tra silenzi di vetro verdi smeraldo c’è una corona di legno spezzata.
Tra raggi di sole che sfumano nebbie io sto già ripensando a te.
C’è rumore nella pace di me.

Come in un sentiero tra seni di donna, io cammino sul ventre con passo leggero
ed è un respiro profondo come il mondo il gorgoglio d’acqua che bagna la mente.
E il vento è accento dei miei perché.

E vedo il viso tuo svanire nell’acqua carica di vita e di morte al contempo
ed io rimango appeso alle mie domande. Negli occhi, mezzelune di luce straniera
mi indicano il tempo di andare via.

Specchiarsi in sottili lamine d'acqua ferma.
Frenarsi e riuscire a non pensarti più.

IF THERE IS A GOOD REASON

We are fighting and everyone has got his own reasons

Differences lead to motivations
and reasons have a story and brought us to surrender

Changing is the future that calls itself
don’t be afraid you can’t be so now
if you have to choose, make it not be an illusion
we could also split if there’s a reason

You can paint a picture and don’t want to look at it
look for love and let it faint
if there’s a good reason you must change
it is, finally, a must: dying not to die
and never think back to it.

Convinced, I go back to my thoughts but I walk waiting
That a subtle waft of wind would come to help me
among glass green silences there’s a broken wooden crown
among sun rays that fade in mist I’m already thinking back to you
there’s noise in the peace of me

As on a path between a woman’s breast, I walk on the stomach softly pacing
and it is a breath as deep as the world the water gurgle that wets the mind
and wind is the accent of my whys

and I see your face fading in the water heavy with life and death together
and I remain hanging on my questions. In my eyes half-moons of foreign light
show me the time to go away.

Looking at myself into light foils of still water
restraining and trying to stop thinking to you.

The new live EP by Ryan W. Stevenson's project reminded me, that this debut album must have been gone down the wishlist... If instrumental Canterbury stuff is your thing, this should be a no-brainer.
